“Sometimes during the concerts at Apollo Theater, I went on singing Please Please Please for 35 or 40 minutes. One day I got out of stage, and somebody threw me a towel, because I was sweating a lot.
I came back on stage with the towel on my shoulder, started singing and I just felt so good.
I gave a hit, threw away the towel, and kept singing until they dragged me away...then I came back and I went the same way, over and over.”

James Brown, The Hardest Working Man in Showbusiness
