On October 16, 1971 John Lennon and Yoko Ono moved to their firstNew York apartment at 105 Bank Street in the Greenwich Village, renting it from Jerry Butler of the Lovin’ Spoonful.
It had two large rooms and a wrought-iron staircase which led up to a small roof garden.
